Turn Off The News and Close Social Media!
Ok, ok, that may be a bit extreme, but if you listen to the news or doomscroll on social media, one might think, due to rates and home values, that the market is terrible and prepare for a major market crash or extreme correction.
BUT Y'ALL....what is that expression? Facts don't care about your feelings?
The Market Is Tightening, But Is Your Marketing?
Note I did not say declining. Although we are seeing some price reductions of properties that came onto the market too high, I would argue that inventory has likely peaked for the year and it if buyers haven't already found their home, chances are, their dream home is not waiting in the wings.
Shifting Market
Well folks, we knew it was coming and it seems it is here - the shift. Does this mean a crash, absolutely not. This likely means gridlock: a buyer/seller standoff. Sellers will hold firm with their prices and buyers are going to be picky and deliberate with their offers.
